The project guide required we create a workbook for children visiting the Congaree National Forrest that is entertaining, easy to carry, and cheap to produce.
For the main character, I sketched a rough shape I wanted him to be and actually really liked what I ended up with on the first time. He had a natural flow of excitment while managing to have a very raw shape.
We were not required to create a final version of the book but only a client proof so this book had six pages. The book was hand saddle stitched and the center two pages where sealed together with rubber cement carefully to make it appear as if the book was designed to be that way.
