This project was based on a sketch I started in class. When I sat down at the computer later that day, I decided to bring it to life in Illustrator.
The illustration consists of trees hand drawn in Illustrator, then masked by concrete textures. The background consists of a gradient with a very ligth concrete texture over it, with speckles of random grey splotches.
The owl is made of hand-drawn shapes placed together on an orange body to bring a splash of color to the final image.
